OctoPrint

OctoPrint isn’t primarily a 3D slicer, but it does offer basic slicing tools alongside its main function as a platform for remote 3D print monitoring. It allows you to check on your prints from anywhere, even in a different city, making it incredibly convenient for managing ongoing projects.

With OctoPrint, you can monitor print progress, temperature, and estimated time remaining. You can also set up a webcam to watch the print in real-time, and if something goes wrong, you can remotely pause or stop the print, saving both time and filament.
